Actor AI applies labels to your emails in consideration to the following rules.
This works by default with your Outlook account.
Default Actor AI Email Labels
Enable or disable which labels are in use by checking or unchecking the checkbox in front of the label.

Actor creates default folders to match our default labels, under your main Inbox folder.

You will also those categories added under your Outlook account, like below:

How Actor applies those changes to your email
Actor AI analyzes email content and based on email content it labels into one of our default labels.
For Outlook it does 2 things:
- It applies Categories to the email, so you’ll see them along with the Email Subject in the list
- It moves emails to one of the folders that match the the main label.

1. Needs Action – Email requires action from you
2. To Respond – Email waiting for a reply or follow-up from you
3. Read Later – Informative content to revisit when convenient
4. Meeting – Emails related to meetings or online calls
5. Finance – Email is about financial matters
6. Travel – Email regarding travel plans or bookings
7. Promotion – Marketing emails, promotions, deals
8. Notification – Automatic emails that include various updates from online tools
9. Awaiting Reply – Sent email waiting for a reply or follow-up
If you don’t want Actor to move emails to one of the designated folders, you can configure it specifically under your Email Management settings for that account.
