Give every email a clearer next step.
Read, reply, and plan your day with Actor beside Gmail. Turn a busy inbox into work you can actually move forward.
Re: Launch review and next steps
Hi Alex,
Could you send the revised outline by Friday and confirm a time for our review next week?
Thanks,
Maya
Right there when the next decision appears.
Actor changes with your context, so the help matches the email you are reading, the reply you are writing, or the day you are planning.
Read with a plan
Open a Gmail message and get help sorting what matters: labels, action items, reply ideas, and relevant calendar context sit beside the thread.
Write in your voice
Start from an Actor draft or improve the words you already wrote. Ask for a clearer, shorter, or more persuasive version; reuse a saved prompt or email template.
See your day
Open the sidebar’s Home view for a daily picture of tasks, events, and reminders. Ask Actor a question when you need the context behind an item.
More than a faster first draft.
The useful part of email assistance is what happens after you understand a message.
See the signal in the inbox
Actor labels messages so you can spot the work that deserves attention and clear the rest with more confidence. See how Actor labels Gmail emails.
Catch the hidden commitments
Turn requests in a message into editable tasks in Google Tasks, instead of relying on memory or an open tab.
Get to a useful reply sooner
Draft from context, improve wording, or reuse your prompts and templates. You stay in control of the final email.
Connect email to the day
Bring tasks, events, and reminders into one view and ask Actor what matters before the next meeting.
One Actor, more ways to work.
The Gmail experience is the convenient entry point. Ask, Studio, and Memory give the same assistant more context and ways to follow through.
Ask Actor
Chat about a thread, find what needs a response, or ask for a picture of your day across connected work.
Explore Ask →Studio
Build repeatable workflows: an incoming email can trigger a rule, create a task, prepare a follow-up, or send a digest. Explore auto-archive Gmail emails with Studio.
Explore Studio →Memory
Keep useful preferences, knowledge, prompts, and templates in an editable workspace so future drafts start with more context.
Explore Memory →A connected next step, not just nicer wording.
Many email tools stop after a summary or a sentence rewrite. Actor can connect the message to tasks, calendar planning, conversation, reusable context, and workflows. That helps you finish the job the email created.
Start with one message in Gmail. Bring in the rest of Actor when the pattern repeats. Learn more about automatically reply to Gmail emails.
Make the inbox you already use more useful.
Add Actor from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Actor account. Gmail Reading and Compose modes appear on Gmail pages.
Choose the Google or Microsoft account Actor should use.
Bring Actor into the email workflow you already know.
Open a message, create a task, or ask Actor what needs attention.
Common questions.
Does this replace Gmail?
No. Actor works beside the Gmail account you already use in Chrome. Your messages stay in Gmail.
Do I need an Actor account?
Yes. The extension uses your existing Actor sign-in, and you connect the Google account you want Actor to help with.
Can I review a reply before sending?
Yes. Actor can prepare and improve drafts; you can review and edit them in your normal email workflow.
